Cybernance Corporation announced today collaboration with Lockton Companies, the world's largest privately held, independent insurance broker.  The collaboration will provide Lockton's cyber insurance clients access to the Cybernance Platform for cyber risk assessment and management.  The solution is immediately available to all Lockton clients.

"As the leader in cyber risk governance, we are excited to provide Lockton's clients this high value service to establish an internal control system to manage cyber risk," said Michael Shultz, CEO of Cybernance. "Lockton clients will see immediate benefits from insights gained on how to integrate cyber risk controls across the enterprise.  Client and broker can then engage in meaningful discussion about risk mitigation. "
The Cybernance Platform, a cyber risk governance software application based upon the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) enables companies to assess, measure and report on their cybersecurity maturity across the entire organization. Once the software is installed, it can be fully operating in a matter of weeks.

The product which is web-based is fully released, tested and already in the insurance market.  The Cybernance Platform enables non-technical board members, executives, internal auditors, general counsel and chief risk officers to maintain insight into and exert control over their organizations' level of protection against cybercrime. A few key features include Policy, Audit, Access Privileges, Risk Assessment, Training and Monitoring, Third Party Service Provider and Vendor Security, Incident Response Plan and Reporting.

"Lockton is delighted to welcome Cybernance as one of our key team members as we continue to invest in the best resources to address our clients' cyber security concerns," said Ben Beeson, cyber risk practice leader for Lockton. "The Cybernance platform will help Lockton clients assess their cyber security posture in real time relative to the NIST Cyber Security Framework as well as the imminent New York Department of Financial Services Cyber Security Regulation."
